The health intelligence layer for the pets who trust us most.

Petwealth was created to make advanced diagnostics feel as clear, personal, and accessible as modern human health starting with pets.

Our Belief

Care shouldn't begin only when something already looks wrong.

Pets are masters at hiding discomfort. A small change in breath, stool, appetite, or energy is easy to dismiss until it becomes something bigger.

Petwealth exists to close that gap: bringing laboratory-grade diagnostics and clear reporting into the moment you're still asking, “should I worry?”

Clearer

reports built for action

Smarter

prevention over reaction

Petwealth

Mochi's story

Born from heartbreak.
Built with purpose.

Petwealth began with a loss that didn't have to happen, a beloved dog diagnosed only once the easy window had already passed.

For too many pets, that's the pattern. The earliest signs of disease are invisible to the eye, and by the time symptoms show, the simplest treatments are no longer on the table. We knew the technology to catch these things early already existed. it just lived behind the walls of clinical labs, out of reach for the everyday pet parent.

So we built Petwealth: a way to run the same PCR diagnostics and certified lab processes your veterinarian relies on, starting from a simple swab at home. Our team brings together veterinary scientists, diagnostic-lab experts, engineers, and above all people who've sat in the waiting room hoping for better answers.

We're not here to replace your vet. We're here to make sure nothing important goes unseen, and to turn what we find into a clear, calm plan for what to do next.

- The Petwealth team

Veterinary scientists, lab experts & pet parents

Why we built it

Pet care has been reactive for too long.

The usual path is fragmented. A symptom appears, a test is ordered, data comes back, and you're left trying to understand what it actually means.

The old way

Wait until symptoms are obvious.

  • Testing usually starts only after a visible problem.
  • Lab language feels technical and disconnected from daily life.
  • You often leave without a clear sense of urgency or next steps.
The Petwealth way

Turn testing into an early signal.

  • Choose a test by symptom, life stage, or simple prevention.
  • PCR diagnostics look deeper into gut, oral, and respiratory health.
  • Get a plain-language report designed for faster, better care.
What a swab can reveal

Your pet can't tell you when something's wrong.

Early detection isn't just better, it's necessary

Real diagnostics

Not a wellness gimmick.

Every test is built on the clinical methods veterinarians and physicians already trust, designed by vet scientists and processed in certified labs.

PCRThe clinical gold standard

The same molecular method labs use to detect pathogens at the DNA level, far more sensitive than visual or rapid tests.

USA-based labCertified lab processing

Samples are processed in in-house certified diagnostic lab, the federal standard that governs human clinical testing.

DVMVet-reviewed results

Every result is reviewed by a licensed veterinarian and translated into guidance you can act on — or bring to your own vet.

What we believe

Preventative pet health. Simple, accessible, trusted.

Prevention over reaction

The best care starts before symptoms appear. We help you catch issues early, when they're simplest to treat.

Trust through transparency

Real lab science, clearly explained. No black boxes, no inflated promises, just what we found and what it means.

Partner, not replace

We're built to work alongside your veterinarian, giving you both a clearer starting point, never instead of them.

Clarity over complexity

Plain-language results and a clear plan for what to do next, not lab codes you have to decipher alone.

Gold-standard science

The same PCR methods and certified labs clinicians rely on, held to a clinical bar, every single time.

Every pet, understood

Dogs and cats, every home. We're making real diagnostics something every pet parent can reach for.

Chief Veterinary Advisor

Dr. Sharon MacIvor is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with more than 40 years of clinical experience in private practice. As owner and medical director of a Miami veterinary practice, she diagnoses and treats infectious and reportable diseases, leads emergency triage and surgical care, and has built her practice around rigorous biosecurity, isolation, and infection-control protocols.

Her expertise spans infectious and zoonotic disease management, risk evaluation and containment, and regulatory compliance — work that has included coordinating with local and state public health authorities and maintaining clinical operations through crisis conditions. During the COVID-19 pandemic she served as a relief veterinarian across South Florida hospitals, sustaining urgent and surgical care through staffing shortages and strict public-health restrictions.

Dr. MacIvor earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a USDA Accredited Veterinarian and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. At Petwealth, she helps ensure that every panel reflects the same diagnostic rigor and preventive-care philosophy she brings to the exam room.

Veterinary Medical Advisor

Dr. Amy Attas always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian — there's photographic evidence that her first patient was Spot, a black-and-white plush toy, when she was just five years old. She has spent her career caring for the dogs and cats of New York City and educating their families about modern preventive medicine.

A lifelong New Yorker, she attended Barnard College before heading to the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned both a master's degree in animal behavior and her doctorate in veterinary medicine. She returned to New York to complete a one-year internship in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan, then spent four years at a prestigious small-animal practice on Park Avenue.

In 1992, she founded City Pets, a veterinary house-call service whose team cares for the dogs and cats living, working, and visiting in New York City. A serial pug rescuer, Dr. Amy splits her time between New York and Connecticut with her husband, Steve, and their rescued pug puppy, Kokoru. She is the author of Pets and the City: True Tales of a Manhattan House Call Veterinarian (Putnam, 2024).
